So I've been thinking about buying a car. The only problem is I'm stuck in between two different cars...the 350Z or Mustang GT. Both used. If I got either one it would be convertible, but my question is which one is the better purchase? It would most likely be off a lot not from a private seller so the car would most likely come stock with no modifications.
Which one is faster?

I'm leaning towards the Z, but recently test drove a GT hard top and was pleased. I don't really care about the 2 seats or 4 seats....no one would be able to fit in the back of the Mustang anyway. The only thing is, is that I would want to install a GPS unit and the whole deal because unless it's the top of the line model it will most likely not have it already installed. If the GT is faster wouldn't I be able to install some engine mods to the Z? Sorry not so great with technical talk about cars. DOHC, SOHC all that stuff is confusing....need help!

I want the whole package...a really fast car, but also want all the modern luxuries on the inside such as GPS and bluetooth capabilities.
