Hello, I know this is a Blazer forum (used to own a 93) now I have a 96 Tahoe. Question is, instead of buying a cold air intake system, can I just take the airbox cover off? I have the K&N filter. Just not the whole intake system. Wouldn't this work close to the same? The only difference I see is the shape of the filter "cone" vs. "cylindrical".
