I am looking to pick up & pull out a '80 911 SC that have been in storage for about 2 years. Last time it was started was about 11 months ago & it ran good. The battery was disconected then. The gas has been in the tank about 2 years but that Stabilize stuff was put in the gas tank along with injector cleaner when it was stored.
The gas tank is between 1/4-1/2 full. I've opened the gas cap & smelled the gas & it still smells like gas (NOT like turpentine). But I haven't started it yet, because I've heard different things about gas not lasting even with the Stabilize in it. Some guys say drain it & put new gas others say just fill it up with new gas & add injector cleaner & your good to go.
What would you recommend me doing to pull it out of storage? Thank you for any advice you have.
