How to Re-glue rear emblem numbers??

I removed the numbers on the trunk of my 1999 323is. The numbers "323 is" were removed and now I want to reglue them back on but I don't know what type of glue would be ideal. Someone please help out, thanks a lot.

Auto parts store sell exterior body trim adhesive.

the proper thing to use is emblem/trim adhesive from local auto body/paint store. Works quite well. Its a 3M product.

NO GLUE!!! PLEASE!! It will fxxk up your paint BAD TIME. ^3M double sided tape is the best^.
