Heres my preliminary sketch. Not too familiar with the drawings of Mustangs myself..so it was different to draw thtis. Maybe Blip will know better and be able to judge. This is very rough though... think it looks ok... this car was a beast in its days.... still hits the tracks today..

thanks guys... i could never grasp the Mustang too well. Really stepping out of my comfort zone for this one. I think the rear quarter panel is a little off in design..what do you think Blip? I am cleaning the lines up now and will post another update soon.. thanks again...

If I were to change anything on the rear quarter, it would be to move the "hip" a bit closer to the B pillar.
That would help to lengthen the rest of the rear fender behind that point.

Hope you don't clean up too much of the linework, there's such a cool "sketchy" look.
Maybe even give a try at just adding color to layers under your orginal line work.
Could give it a more graphic novel style look. (Just a thought running in my head.)

yeah i agree i like the line work as well... looks retro like the car itself. I will try that colouring technique....it seems these days i am more happy with the linework than the finished piece.. So maybe i should just draw more and leave it at that....lol

I will adjust the rear quarter as well...thanks again Blip. Knew i could rely on you for anything Mustang ;)

I like the linear, sketchy quality here. It conveys a lot of feeling and energy to the car and has this cool "70's style" vibe to it. I've always had a sweet tooth for Boss Mustangs.

Nice work there, el C!

Watch the pinching of the A-pillar, as it joins the cowl and rework your headlight 'buckets' before going into clean up. The near side bucket is too large and sits too high, in relation to the far bucket. The leading edges around the near bucket shound be thinner, as well, currently they make the near corner too thick and chunky.

Carry on!
