My 04 tahoe's front A/c is not working, the rear is.
Does anyone know what might be the problem and solution?

front evaporator may have a blockage. if you have cabin filters they may need to be changed. the temp control door may not be opening right. sounds like air cant move through the front coil.

As said check air flow.
If auto ac codes will be set.
Check for and post back codes.
Also make sure you have a proper charge in it.
If low on 134-a it willm shut of one end.

I took out the front blower and tested it to power and it worked properly.

Is the blower blowing air.
What is air temp on front air vents with compresser running?
Are you getting air flow threw front unit?
Does it have proper ac charge?
What is low and high side pressure readings at idle and at 2K rpm with compresser running?

Codes can be checked with a engine body ac module capable scanner.
