Rob remingtonbox 09-10-2009, 07:47 PM I think the first ones... I am betting on you going with a billetmobile though with those rims, otherwise... ya, after another study, go with the first ones. jrlugo45 09-10-2009, 07:56 PM Well i have been sitting here going over and over with ideas, finally i came up with this, no cutting has been done as of yet but maybe with a little encouagement i will move forward with this, lol. i have been searching the web for pictures of a de-fendered 37 coupe with no luck, so referance is out the window, but i would like to think i have a good imagination and some ok scratchbuilding skills so im sure i could wing it. please let me know what you think of this, rat rod style, maybe some slick paint or maybe just primer/flat black. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/series/DSCN0101.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/series/DSCN0102.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/series/DSCN0104.jpg street rods are nice but theres something about how this looks thats got me hooked, what do you all think? remingtonbox 09-10-2009, 10:20 PM http://www.hotrod.com/featuredvehicles/113_0703_1935_chevy/index.html not exactly what you are looking for, but lots of fuel for imagineering... jrlugo45 09-10-2009, 11:31 PM thats a very awesome chevy. here are some updates, i actually got a nice ride hight without notching or z-ing the frame at all, just a floor pan lift and the frame tucks nice plus the lowered suspenion parts that come with the kit and its in the weeds!! i also fabbed up some inner wheel wells and filled with body filler, also fabbed up some breaks, i had a spare set of brembos from a ashomia rx7 kit. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/series/DSCN0107.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/series/DSCN0106.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/series/DSCN0105.jpg New breaks- http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/series/DSCN0111.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/series/DSCN0110.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/series/DSCN0109.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v190/series/DSCN0113.jpg Now im nowhere near being ready to paint yet, but im up in the air still weather to go with something glossy and smooth or maybe primer red/grey? or flat black? or maybe semi-gloss black? or maybe even a sloid color i.e red, blue, green ext. but in matte form? mopar man 09-11-2009, 09:02 AM I love it so far man deffinetly go with the first set of rims and i would go with a gloss black with a red stripe down the side or maybe some red pinstripe decals vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
