Hello recently my wife took our truck to get the oul changed, when she went back to pick it up the Service Tire Monitor System light was on.

It cannot be coinisidence! However she didnt go back in and tell them so im not going back to tell them because they would never believe me.

What could they have done?

Can i reset it?

Wrong tire pressures or not matching, basics here, get a tire gage out and check pressures to start with. If ok clear the message. Reset info is in owners manual.

Did they rotate the tires?
If so you might have to do a recalibrate.
Cadillacs do this recalibrate.

You can download an owners manual here:

http://www.gm.ca/gm/english/motion/chevrolet/ownermanuals/dispModel

You can reset the TPMS yourself or pay a dealer or tire shop to do it for you.
