Help, I need some step by step instructions to remove the bad transmission. I really dont want to remove the engine with it. so how can I get the old out and the used one back in? we are on a tight budget here so any free info would be best.:runaround:

Try autozone.com, repair guides, register and you are in, or do a site and google search for Lumina trans removal.

You do need a special jig to hold up the engine up,all that is left holding the engine up are the hoses and wiring harness.Do not attempt to do this without this special jig.
