Hi

I drove to Michigan and back to Maine this weekend and on the way back my odometer and radio display had a slight pulsating or flickering. The temperature gauge would go to 210 (normal) and then drop back to 185 all other gauges were fine. Not sure of this is related. I am thinking a bad ground somewhere? The truck is 2000 5.3 with 124,000 miles

I was going to put that in and forgot ! It is a 2000

It was doing it again today. I can hear a faint whine from the alternator also. The alternator is original and never been replaced. Think it is trying to tell me something?
