wierd grinding noise

i have a 94 honda accord LX. everytime i slow down, i hear this wierd grinding noise coming from the front of the car. it happens when i brake, or when the car slows down. and sometimes when i turn. it just started to happen today. any ideas what it may be?

Could be lots of things.

Things that come to mind are worn brake pads, sticking brake caliper, bad hub bearing, fender inner liner contacting tire, differential problem, broken motor mount allowing body contact with rotating engine parts, etc...

Try to see if you can come up with any more detail, might help.

Does it do it worse the longer you drive? Does it ever not happen in certain circumstances? Any better/worse in rain? Can you feel it mostly in the brake pedal, body, steering column, shifter, etc? Changes with speed, temp, or other factors?
