When making turns it feels like the axles are going to slide out. I opened the diff. removed tire and found a little up and down play and some in and out play. Both outer axle seal leaking a little. I am not seeing much in the diff or axle's that would cause that much feeling when making a turn. What should i look for?

Not ecactly sure what your trying to say, does it feel like the car is losing the back end around the corner or like the wheel isn't turning the front wheels enough? or something different?

I have a "94 Cherokee Sport. It has always done what it sounds like your describing. I have been told by many "so called experts" that it is normal to the jeep. However, mine only does this when I turn hard right or left. It feels like the wheels shouldn't be able to turn as far as they do. If I turn just a little less than all the way it won't slide and jump like it does. I work on my own jeep so I know all the front end parts are in good shape and nothing is loose. Hope this helps. Mine has almost 200k on it and I wouldn't trade it for a new one.
