town & country 2000 park lamp problemspecialist 09-04-2009, 07:48 PM Town & country 2000 park lamp comes on only on the left side.No license plate and no instrument cluster illumination.I found a short on the wires going to rh front park lamp, fix it but no park lamp at the Rh.All fuses are ok.When turn park lamp on it take a few second for the only rh working to come on. best regards RIP 09-05-2009, 04:39 PM Left and right side lights have individual fuses. I'd tripple check it. Right side shows a 15 amp fuse #3 but the fuse numbers on this schematic have been proven wrong in the past. Check your manual to be sure. Schematic shows a single power source from the Body Control Module (BCM) to the park lamp relay which powers all parking lights so I have doubts the BCM is the problem. Just incase the schematic isn't showing everything try pulling the IOD fuse from the fuse panel under the hood (PDC) for 3 minutes. This will reset the BCM. The BCM does have the lamp driver for instrument lighting. The LP light is powered by the fuse for the left lights so we know the left parking lights fuse is good. Have you checked for power and ground at the light. How is the bulb? exalteduser 09-06-2009, 03:21 PM i was wondering if this just acts up when on parking lights mode, or even with headlights on too.
