Let say I want to be safe and turn on my headlights. Not Autolamp - just the regular On setting. Remember, it is daytime. Then I turn the key off, exit and lock up. Will the headlights turn off? I've waited 5+ minutes and no luck. Doesn't this vehicle have that feature? There is no info on this in the manual. It works in Autolamp. However, autolamp doesn't come on in the daylight. thanks.

When the light switch is set to the On position (not autolamp), the lights will remain on for all time...or until your battery dies. Whichever comes first.

Really? My Chyrsler van and Sonata both had this "battery-saver." I can't believe this new car doesn't . I.M.O., unless you travel thru a lot of tunnels, Autolamp is worthless in the daylight. Do Canadian cars have it?
