2000 Focus LX hesitation when coldsarma20 09-01-2009, 08:37 PM My 2000 LX Focus hesitates real bad in the morning when the car is cold. As soon as it warms up the problem goes away. I have some ideas but dont want to start replacing parts. I already replaced the DPFE sensor. I dont know if its something with the EGR system or something else. Please help. Davescort97 09-02-2009, 02:47 AM Welcome to AF! Most likely you have a vacuum leak. Fords adapt very nicely to vacuum leaks once they warm up. The next most likely thing is a bad heated Oxygen Sensor. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
