My truck won't turn right!Northernguy 09-01-2009, 05:12 PM My Pop's truck actually! lol He has an 02 Dakota Sport 3.9.Everytime he cranks the wheel to the right it starts to sputter, choke and backfire with little to no power. As soon as he starts to straighten out the wheel it starts to run smoothly again with all kinds of power. He can turn it to the left without any problems.lol Has anyone got an idea of what this could be.? He has been told fuel injection and has also been told several times that its his transmission. 4spd auto Neither make any sense. thisnametooktolong 09-01-2009, 08:03 PM bad rack Northernguy 09-01-2009, 08:09 PM bad rack The front end is in great shape. Its mostly new! thisnametooktolong 09-02-2009, 02:26 PM almost new? its 8 years old, time to get under neath that puppy and start looking Northernguy 09-15-2009, 01:45 PM Still havent found the problem! lol We towed an 18ft boat through all kinds of lousy roads, and no cutting out.We get home and turn right onto the highway and almost get killed by an on coming logging truck. We changed all the elctronic stuff twice already in the past two months. There are no loose cables or wires anywhere near the front end linkage. I am really lost on this one. What are the chances its the computer ? It only happens when turning in either direction. It hasn't bogged down while starting out going straight.
