The thermostat housing on 97 explorer 5.o was cracked so i ordered a new one but the new one has a 45 degree angle on it which causes the hose to go into the fan. The correct housing has a 90 degree elbow. I have spent at least 4 hours:banghead: trying to find the correct part, :banghead:does anyone know some good sites for me to find this. Thanks

Does the original housing have any part numbers on it that you can match up? Have you tried the dealership?

You might try to go to the official dealer of the thermostat and ask for the parts you need... they must have...
