i just got truck and was told the beeping noice when i start truck is air bag alarm, it's not seatbelt, how do i stop the beeping, it goes about six or seven times

that mean you have an air bag fault if the light flashes the that is the code count the flashes to see the code you could replace the air bag modul it in the pass side kick panel some can be reset

there is no flashing light just beeping......i'll check passanger side panel and see if i can reset...thanks......all i really want to do is stop the beeping, i'm not worried if airbag doesnt work..

follow up- i'll be more clear ,this time. sorry new truck to me.
the airbag light does not come on at all.no flash no code
then i start truck i get a series of 5 beeps 5 times and it stops
itook off passanger side kick plate and saw what may have been sensor( dont have a clue what i;m looking at} didnt find any pics or much info in chiltons book. what looked like apossible reset( red button)next to some wires , it was pushed down . i tried to push down more but no movement.

did find orange wire that had shorted against body and traced that back to 20 amp fuse(blown) at selenoid? elec. chart showed orange wire for fuel tank switch? daul tanks working ,except fill gauge for front tank

one more thing the beeping sound s like its coming from behind dash radio area
