Alternator size

How do I know which size alternator my wife's van has (140 vs 160)? She drives a 2002 T&C limited with factory tow package and the 3.8 l engine. The clutch is going and rather than spend $80 on a new clutch, with 110K miles on the van I will just replace the whole unit which includes the clutch.

Thank you

They usually have a tag on them. 160 amp Pn is 4868430ab. 140 amp is Pn 4868431ab.

Thanks for the info. It has the 160 amp alternator. The override clutch was making a lot of noise on the old one - cleared up with the new one. The pulley and clutch were not tight.

Again, thanks!
