Reminds me of z06 wheels with a lip... I like em.

like the look, but 20 offset is going to stick out like a mofo...probably about 1" - 1.5" all around.

EDIT, ok, now im a bit confused. In the auction up top it says they're 20 offset, and below it says 35-45 offset. You should ask the seller to verify which they are. Also, be very careful with a staggered setup on an AWD car. you'll need to make sure to match the overall diameters so as not to wear out your diff.

Theres a good chance those wont fit due to spoke design.

Also running staggered wheels on an AWD is kinda stupid. NOt only does it look out of place, but it will adversly affect handling, and could fry your VCU if you dont match rolling diameters.

oh dam i didnt know that. i thought i would be good with different widths as long as they were the same diameter. as for the fitment i could just get spacers, yea?

I am personally not a fan of spacers.

as for matching the diameters, they are all the same 18"s so i wouldnt need to worry about it right? i mean an extra inch of width in the back wouldnt cause problems would it?

the thing is if your planning to get wider tires for the back (which im assuming you are) 255 40 18s are not the same rolling diameter as, say, 275 40 18s...you have to play with the aspect ratio and width and try to match it.
go here and you can try to find tires with matching diameters (http://www.1010tires.com/tiresizecalculator.asp)

youll probably want 245s or 255s in front and 65s or 75s in back

And this is why you need to avoid staggered. Just run 9" all the way around. I am sure you can find some good rims in 18x9 with the proper offset if you look hard enough.

so i found a guy in my area selling his OEM saturn sky rims for $225. they're 18x9 with a 5x110 bolt pattern. dunno about the offset. good to go?

No. You need 5 x 114.3 (5 x 4.5")

I'll second that motion.

Theres 3 things you need to look for while wheel shopping
Bolt pattern MUST be 5x114.3 (5x4.5)
Wheel width SHOULD be at least 8.5". Anything smaller is a downgrade from stock, which would be completely pointless.
Offset should be at LEAST +25, but i would recommend at least +30, unless you dont mind them sticking out a bit.

other that that the only other issue is caliper clearence...which is hard to predict. I think there's a list on 3si in the wheel/tire section of known wheels that will fit, but im sure thats only a small portion of the possibilities. My wheels weren't on there when i bought them...i just made sure that i got the seller to say in writing that if they didnt fit i could return them.

And another note spoke design is the big issue with caliper clearance.

Damn, never knew buying some rims could be so technical. LOL

Do all these issues apply to all 3Ss or just to TTs?

AutostradaVR4

the caliper clearance is just a TT issue. The staggering issue holds true for all AWD vehicles, and the rest of it is just general fitment info

what about the konig lace design? its like a bbs design. i got it ona sl but i wanted to do a tt brake upgrade
