I HAVE A 94 BUICK REGAL GRAN SPORT THAT WAS SHOWING NUMEROUS CODES(TO MANY TO LIST).HAD THE CONTROL MODULE REPLACED $400+ SHOWING ONLY ONE NEW CODE SOMETHING ABOUT SPARK RESISTOR PROBLEMS. NOW TODAY IT IS SHOWING NO CODES BUT WON'T START. IT IS NOT GETTING SPARK DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEAS ON WHAT TO CHECK NEXT THIS IS GETTING VERY TIME CONSUMING AND EXPENSIVE. ANY IDEAS WOULD HELP:banghead::runaround::banghead:

By control module, do you mean the ignition module (the one the coil packs are mounted to) or the ECM (the main computer)?

Also, not knowing the previous other codes, nor the new one, it's hard to get an accurate assesment.

Replaced the ecm, only one new code,spark refernce after i got it started it ran fine then died and that's when it threw the spark reference code and wouldn't start back up after sitting for awhile it finally did start but would still die. I replaced the crank sensor and it starts and runs, leaving it running to see if it dies or stays running. Had the im tested and they (autozone) said they tested 8 times and it showed good every time thats why i went with the cps
