yes I have a question. my check engine light came on yesterday during the rain. I had it checked and the error code was misfire on cylinder 3. It only does this when it’s raining out and the engine bogs down real low like it’s going to die. Also its sluggish to get moving from a stop. I have a 2001 ford explorer sport :headshake

I'm not real familiar with the 2001 Sport to know if it has a distributor cap and rotor or distributorless ignition. I suspect distributorless.

When is the last time the truck had a tune up with new spark plugs AND wires? It sounds like you might have a wire that's failing or not fully seated.
