Hello all,

I just bought a black/black 2001 lincoln ls v6, auto(non triptronic). It has a dealer/factory command start, but I can't seem to figure it out.... I press the button, nothing, press and hold, 2 beeps and marker lights flash, still nothing. What am I doing wrong/what has to happen to make it work?

Also it has just under 100000 km (60'000)miles. What maintainance should I look at doing?

Im thinking:

-spark plugs
-valve cover gaskets(not leaking, but...)
-known pcv elbow?
-rear diff lube change
-trans fluid change
-power steering and fan fluid change(would use an oil extractor)
-o2 sensors?
-coolant change
-fuel filter replacement

Anything else?

Is it possible to get rid of the EGR system entirely? Where I am there is no emissions laws or any of that BS.
