I may not correctly understand the problem you describe. But if you are saying your CEL flashes some times, and then goes out, I had similar problem on an 'O1 Passport that is identical to your truck.

A flashing CEL usually indicates major failure of some system that can damage the emissions control system. With mine, the CEL flashed only on accelleration. When I let off the gas peddle, the light went out. Since these trucks are drive-by-wire, that indicates a failing throttle position sensor or throttle body (big $ to replace). To avoid replacing those, I opened up the white plastic circuit board cover on the right side of the throttle position sensor on the throttle body & cleaned the circuit board good. That cut the flashing CEL issue down from every time I hit the accellerator, to only happening once every 4-5 months or so. I just drive it like that till the tps fails completely then replace it. Runs fine, so far.

Here's a link to a great post on Planet Isuzu by a sharp guy who had same problem, did same thing, got same result (with pics!):

If you have already seen this issue and I mentioned that there is not and so I went to a workshop for them to replace the TPS, but it works well unless the damaged sensor which is on the accelerator pedal of is guaranteed, and anyway I will go again

thanks and here we are ...
