guys, do any of you know or have the product code of the old Fujimi BMW M3 kit (E30 series)?

I am thinking to write an email to fujimi and suggest them to release the kit. Just a thought!

thanks!

An old hobby shop catalogue shows code ID-7 for E30 M3.

If they rerelease it then I'm going to get one myself too to make a Tour de Corse rallycar:)

I think you'll find that E30 is well and truly available (http://www.1999.co.jp/asp/GoodsDetails_e.asp?Bno=&Typ1_c=102&Typ2_c=106&Typ3_c=439&SPage=1&SC=35&SN=Search+result+Search+for+%3A+bmw&It_c=10028274&andor=0&scope=0&scope2=0&thumb=1&sortID=1&urikire=1&sort_sort=0&ItKey=bmw&app_url=KeyReference_right_e.asp). This is not M3, but 325i, but I honestly doubt there will be ANY difference. Or did you mean a race car?

I have the Autech M3 race version of the E30, the body is horrible! The roof is flat, too short and square, the leading edge of the fenders are too square, and they botched the kidney shaped grills. There is a street version kit of this car but I don't have the item number.:frog:

I recently bought the kit Alex is referring to from HLJ.:) Not a bad purchase if I might add.:bandit:

In all honesty, I'm yet to see an E30 model that "looks right". I can't put my finger on it, but something about them just in not like it should be (nothing to do with modellers, but the manufacturer :o)

Really? I looked through the instructions, and it seems like the kit has the same simplified chassis as in their 190E kits. And it cannot be correct :o

I think Scale Kraft makes a transkit corrected resin body for this kit, he does excellent work so it's prolly right.:)

Here's my M3 E30. it's from Fujimi.

By the way, i believe that the model that Alex has showed you is not a real M3, but only the 325i version. they both shared the same engine, but the M3 has the wide body. maybe Antonio could post some pics of the 325i body.

Hope this can help you

Cheers

Fujimi managed the unthinkable - made the E30 look boxier than it is... :o

I mean look at this:

They could as well have taken an axe and carved it from wood in 3 minutes. Alex stops whigning now.

Hi. One thing I've noticed is that the rear side windows areshaped kind of wierd compared to the 1:1 car which lends to the boxiness of the model.
