First car -- along the lines of a Mazda 3?GlassBullet 08-03-2009, 06:16 PM I'm going to be turning 16 in a few months and my parents have agreed to by me a car. They said I can get a 2007 or earlier and it has to have pretty good crash ratings. Personally, I'm focused on the looks of the car, and gas mileage is important too. Performance and after market stuff and all that isn't too important. I'm looking for automatic transmission with 4 or 5 seats. Two or four door, doesn't matter. I like the Mazda 3, but I want to check out some other cars similar to that in design/size/style. I've looked at the Toyota Corolla S and it isn't too bad. Any other suggestions of cars I could look in to? If you need any more info feel free to ask. EDIT: forgot to say the budget is about $15,000 max. trim250 08-04-2009, 03:36 AM I just read your post, reading your post your really interested in a Mazda 3. What I do is help people get good deals on cars without you having to negotiate or waste time going dealer to dealer. I do that for you. If you want more info email me at Trim250@gmail.com Exchange and Mart 08-05-2009, 05:42 AM True I was thinking it would probably be more useful for the information and advice available on there, even if it's not possible to make a purchase. GlassBullet 08-05-2009, 02:54 PM What about the Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart? I really like the looks of it and how it resembles the Evo. I'm having trouble finding what kind of transmission it has available. I'm guessing it comes with manual and I read somewhere about it coming in automatic but another place said it was semi-auto. I'm not opposed to getting a semi-auto, but I'm just trying to find out what it has. Do any of the other lancer models have semi-auto transmission? EDIT: Same goes for the OZ Rally edition Shpuker 08-05-2009, 07:06 PM you've got a nice budget for a first car so I'd go to autotrader, cars, or edmunds.com and set your budget. this should give you plenty of choices for cars. personaly I dont like Mazda, their nice and sporty but I dont like the way they look. Mitsubishi isn't bad and the newer lancers look nice, and from what I can tell through searching around the lancer comes with a manuel and a "semi-auto" which is a clutchless manuel. I dont know if it comesin a full auto though and Google was no help :eek7: GlassBullet 08-05-2009, 11:38 PM yeah on most of the car sites i've looked at it says either automatic or manual, but on may reviews i've read it say semi auto. I've looked on cars.com and autotrader.com and i think i'm gonna go with the OZ Rally if I can zodiac5 08-26-2009, 05:03 PM manual mazda3 .... or a miata xD you know you want a miata! ad link removed by Moderator akboss 08-31-2009, 03:17 PM 2004-2005 VW Jetta 1.8T, 180hp and 30 mpg fully loaded for way under your budget. Or, if you can find a deal, get the '06+ with the 2.0T and you're getting just over 200hp and the new body style. Also the Vibe GT/Matrix XRS is a decent little car. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
