93 Jimmy with ABS...was gravity bleeding my ABS brake system(no real problem with brakes,just changing the nasty fluid) and accidentally let the fluid reservoir run dry...how do I bleed the ABS control unit?...tried using a vacuum pump on the two bleeders on the CU but not getting a drop of fluid out....seems to be pulling air out but the fluid level isnt going down..dosnt look like its had fluid in it for a while...the ABS light has been on for years....HELP!!!!

Not good, a scanner capable of triggering the abs unit is now required. Dealer unit and/or Tech11, high line Snap On units also.

Yeah...did some Googling and thats what I arrived at also...looks like a $59 job,flushing the ABS system,at Midas is gonna turn into a bigger headache than I anticipated....looks like its tow truck time tomorrow....thanks for the reply...
