Help bleeding ABS system 93 Jimmyko4qc 08-02-2009, 03:44 PM 93 Jimmy with ABS...was gravity bleeding my ABS brake system(no real problem with brakes,just changing the nasty fluid) and accidentally let the fluid reservoir run dry...how do I bleed the ABS control unit?...tried using a vacuum pump on the two bleeders on the CU but not getting a drop of fluid out....seems to be pulling air out but the fluid level isnt going down..dosnt look like its had fluid in it for a while...the ABS light has been on for years....HELP!!!! maxwedge 08-02-2009, 07:31 PM Not good, a scanner capable of triggering the abs unit is now required.
