No power to ligher socket, or acces,socket is there an inline fuse ?

Check the owners manual, usually labeled accessory or cigarette. Manuals available online through gm website.

Fuse is probably blown-common in Malibus before '04. The fuse should be in the box under the hood right above the drivers side wheel well.
