I HAVE A 1996 300ZX TWIN TURBO STOCK,SOMETIMES WHEN I'M DRIVING BACK FROM WORK THERE ARE HONDA CIVICS(MOSTLY EG6'S) THEY ALWAYS WANT TO RACE. I THINK THE HONDAS HAVE EITHER A B18 OR B20 ENGINE. CAN THEY BEAT ME DUE TO THE WEIGHT OF MY CAR????:eek7:

THANKS TO ALL THE ANSWERS

Race em, you'll smoke em... Permitting you can drive your car good and it's not a super fast civic. Twin turbo is all too often underestimated, check out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYvY5rTqIvM for a little incentive

b20- 145 hp- 6800 rpm, b18a or b18b- 143 hp 6800 rpm, b18c1 -180 hp -7400 rpm, b18c5-210 hp- 8400rpm. That's just base horsepower, so you are definately good if you know there isn't many engine mods on the Civic. Especially if you got the twin turbo 4 cam 24 valve 3.0L motor with a 5-speed, then yer pushin around 300 horses. Even the 4-speed still has like 280 hp.

IS THE B18C5 THE SAME AS A B18 TURBO ENGINE??? IF NOT WHAT'S THE DIFFRENCE BETWEEN THEM BECAUSE ALL THESE DIFFRENT THINGS CONFUSE ME LOL:screwy:

Go to http://hybrid.honda-perf.org/tech/engine.html for a little help. Mostly the diffferent numbers and letters depend on what car they came in and different styles of motor that came in the same style car. If you understood that. Here's an easier way to say that, it's like the Grand Prix's if you know anything about them. The SE came with a 3.1L AND the 3.8L, the GT came with the 3.8L, and the GTP has the 3.8L Supercharged
