Welcome to AF.

There is a condenser but it is a pickup coil (actually three in there) used by the engine's ECM to detect the cam and crankshaft positions. Removing one would be bad. If you're EFI is grounding out, check your ignition coil, plugs, wires, and igniter first.

The EFI fuse feeds power to the fuel pump, ECU, TCM, A/C idle up VSV, EGR VSV, and several other components. Check the wiring schematics in your factory maintenance manual listed at the top of the Camry forum. The power source charts are especially helpful.

Thanks RIP, I stand corrected.

Is the "check engine" light on? Was the car running okay before this happened? Try to pull codes and post back.

From the repair manuals stickied at the top of the forum, the noise filter for the ignition system is located attached to the inner fender near the driver's side strut mount in the engine bay.
