I have a 99 trooper that I just bought and I just want to know if the 4x4
indicator auto trans position indicator and clock go dim when headlights
are turned on.the lights come on full when key is turned on but go dim when
headlights are turned on just want to know if this is normal for the trooper
b4 i start looking for a ground fault or something.

That's normal for all vehicles, at least in the US.
