Another Terlingua Toon....Blip 07-22-2009, 07:20 AM Here's a little something I'm working on for a group of Shelby Terlingua owners/fans. I developed a crazy logo character for this group called Link, modelled after the logo on the Terlingua team shield. There has been some crazy golf cart racin' stories so I'm turning that idea into a toon. Here's the initial pencil art and starting of the line work. http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z130/Darkblip/Artwork/CAR-toons/LinkGolfCartPencil.jpg http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z130/Darkblip/Artwork/CAR-toons/LinkGolfCart.jpg Blip 07-22-2009, 07:24 AM He's also had some time with a "different" kind of Mustang... (Okay I know it's not a car, but it does have wheels--hope this is okay with Lemorris to post.) http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z130/Darkblip/Artwork/LinkP51-1.jpg The original Air-catures doodle design sheet. http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z130/Darkblip/Artwork/set01.jpg lemorris 07-22-2009, 09:26 AM lolol ok? it's great! I'm not anything man. Post away. Very very cool. Both :) Blip 07-23-2009, 03:09 PM Thanks Lemorris, didn't want to drift too far away from an automotive theme by posting these toons. Line work is done and now working with the color fill... http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z130/Darkblip/Artwork/CAR-toons/LinkGolfCart02.jpg Blip 07-23-2009, 08:13 PM Think cart and driver are about done, now to the background... (Crap--missed the rear axle, will get it next time.) http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z130/Darkblip/Artwork/CAR-toons/LinkGolfCart03.jpg lemorris 07-23-2009, 10:13 PM awesome GirlBear 07-25-2009, 12:54 AM haha, blip. thats awesome! Blip 07-26-2009, 07:51 AM Thanks! Now to make the time to finish the background. Blip 07-26-2009, 08:03 PM Did the background work, but won't call it done yet. Did a little photo magic for the sky, not sure it works with the overall layout. http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z130/Darkblip/Artwork/CAR-toons/LinkGolfCart04.jpg lemorris 07-28-2009, 01:52 AM you are an amazing artist...welcome to the "make lemorris crap his pants" list. Great execution...I love how you see your work through. That is a gift. great piece Blip 07-28-2009, 09:07 AM Very humbling comments coming from one whom I consider as one of my tooning sensei. Thank you again for that initial guidance to seek Jeri's tutorials. That was the first step to changing how I digitally draw. Blip 07-31-2009, 12:30 PM Did a bit of fine tooning with the drop shadows, this should be it for this one. http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z130/Darkblip/Artwork/CAR-toons/LinkGolfCart05.jpg vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
