Hey everyone,
I have a 01 Alero GLS Sedan with the 3.4L engine. I was wondering if someone could give me a list of all parts that should be replaced at this mileage or soon. The car runs great and no current issues. Thank You for your help.

Welcome to AF.

Spark plugs and possibly ignition wires. Plus fuel filter and air filter.

I have a 99 alero with 185,000 on it. Last november i replaced the following:

Oil - duh...
Fuel filter
air filter
Spark Plugs
Coil Packs (had a problem and thought this might fix it)
Idle Air Sensor (had a problem and thought this might fix it)
Motor Mounts - it was vibrating like hell and this solved that
Tranny fluid - Last time it was replaced was at about 50k
thermostat - the temp was a bit higher then when i bought the car, this solved it.
Ran SeaFoam through it.
Windshield wipers
brakes

I have 185k on it now and it runs like a champ. That was the most money i put into the car since i bought it. most of the money went into the motor mounts which are expensive, however they were necessary to smooth out the car.

a few of the things were to solve a problem where the car was dying and hesitating on acceleration from a stop, which ended up being a vacuum line......

Otherwise all i have to do to the car normally is change the oil. Although i think my alternator is dead. Light just came on yesterday.....
