I Just Bought A Repo'd 2002 Honda Accord LX And It Doesn't Have Any Keys To It. Now I Have A 90 Civic Si Hatch That 1 Key Opens & Starts It. Is This Accord The Same Way, One Key Unlocks And Starts It? Also, Is The Key Just A Regular Key Or Does It Have A Transponder Or Chip In It Of Some Kind? I Called A Local Locksmith And He Said That On The Original Key There Should Have Been A Code Stamped Into It And If I Could Get That Code He Could Make Me A New Key For $15. If I Were To Call A Honda Dealership And Give Them The Vin # Would They Be Able To Come Up With The Key Code? Thanks In Advance.

the 2002 accord is a transponder key and yes one key does all, call another locksmith in your area who does mainly auto work tey will be happy to help you. $15 is very low for that key as it will need to be programmed to your car.
