If anyone knows something about vacuum pressure systems in the 'O2 Zx-2, I would love to see a diagram of it or know if there's a particular part to replace to solve my problem. Here's a quick rundown of my situation:
Awhile ago, my '02 Zx-2's air conditioning started only blowing through the defrost vents no matter what setting I put the dial on, even if the setting was only "VENT". Right about the same time, I noticed that the car started idling too low and it seemed a stall was always imminent if I didn't keep my foot on the gas at least a little.

Is this problem due to a vacuum leak or leaks somewhere, or is there maybe a bad valve or switch that I can replace to get the air flow control back?
Help! I'm an AutoCAD tech, not a car mechanic...
Thanks very much for any help!:runaround:

Well, Kian it's a vacuum motor that controls the blend door on your zx2 heating and A/C.
It's vacuum operated and goes to the defrost mode if it loses vacuum. This is for safety reasons. I suspect you do have a vacuum leak. Check the hoses under the hood and replace the PCV valve and check the hoses that connect it to the intake. Are your brakes all right? Not too hard to push the pedal cause vacuum operates the brake booster, also.
