i have a 1999 oldsmobile alero 2.4 dohc\r\nthe coolant light came on,i went to a mechanic shop, and mechanic looked at the vehicle and stated i needed a water pump,i got this vehicle from my brother, they had been pouring water into the vehicle but the water was pouring out. so i took my car to a mechanic to do the repairs,he told me he replaced my water pump, thermostat, ohh let me add my spark plugs were already gaped at 85 before he touched the car,he re-gaped the spark plugs at 50 which is the required gapping,so now the water is still leaking,he told me i have a blow head gasket, which was something the mechanic before him never mention,my car wasnt running hot or anything, now the car is still leaking water and coolant, and he also told me i have to drive with one foot on the gas pedal and the other foot on the brake pedal, now before i didnt have to drive this vehicle like this, now i have to? did he tear my car up worser then it was?

This guy should never touch your car again. Maybe he wants you to warp your brake rotors so he can charge you to replace them.

Go to a different mechanic to find your leak. A blown head gasket will usually allow coolant to leak into either the radiator (look for milky gunk in the radiator or overflow bottle) or the oil (brown/white sludge in the oil).
