Why does my '98 Nissan Sentra engine makes a loud whining noise near the alternator/ ac compressor area when idling or accelerating? Is it a bad belt? I had my alt rebuilt almost 2yrs ago. Is it my A/c compressor? Something else?:banghead:

Sounds like your belt is bad could be a bad pully the free thing 2 do is go to your local auto parts and let them tell u.:smokin:
