I have a 2001 Chevy Malibu with 125000 miles. I purchased this car from a dealer in RI with 41000 miles. At that time, I noticed that the A/C was randomly kicking on and off, since I was living in RI this was not a concern. Now, I live in Az, this is a much greater concern.

kicking on & off is usually a sign of low freon.
Low freon is usually a sign you have a leak somewhere
