Well, after 8 years with my 01 3.1 Malibu with 84K mikes, I am finally getting to the end of its life. I have had the fuel injector issues, 3 ignition key cylinders replaced, fuel pump assembly replaced, the air idle something replaced and now the AC went. To fix it would be around $850 for parts/labor. Did I mention I need tires and front brakes? Also I only have speeds 3+4 on the blower fan. In addition, the ac on light always kept blinking off for a while, then on, that is, when the ac worked. The repairs are close to its wholesale value. I am currently driving a Honda EX with no problems. It's time to wholesale it out. Does anyone disagree with me?
