I was searching hlj and came across these, too bad they are on back order. They are fujimi 20" BBS wheels. Thats awesome news, i guess they come pictured with black spokes but i doubt thats how they come.

Does anyone have these yet? and is willing to shows pics of what they actually look like? I bought a pair from ebay, but won't get them for a long time (japan).

If this is old news, sorry and disregard.

Cool thanks for sharing, are they really 20"? How many mm are they in diameter?

Can you take a pic of the 18" and 20" side by side?

Are the front tires narrower than then rear tires, or all the same size?

On hlj site it states that the rear ones are wider than the fronts.

Could you please tell us the wheel dimensions (diameter and width, front and rear)?

I'm curious if they are really 20" equivalents.

PS: Sorry to bug you with all these questions, are those tire Bridgestones or Pirellis?

Yeh me too, i'm over excited about these. Since there are only expensive resin ones out.

Tires are bridgestone potenzas
Measurments are a little shady as I can only find the little ones school ruler..
wheels measure 15/16" inch diameter so it scales up to about a 22 inch wheel..
The rears are wider then the fronts
fronts are aprox 3/8" wide
rears are aprox 7/16" wide

Sorry cant seem to find any calipers ATM..

Thanks for the measurements! :)

So Fujimi who usually makes the wheels to small gives now us wheels that translate to 21.5 inch instead of 20 inch this time. :screwy:

what are you measuring? A 20 inch wheel will have a "face" that is greater than 20 inches because of the flange.

Sure, but 22.5 inches for a 20 inch wheel?

15/16 translates to approx. 21 inches because 15/16 * 24 (scale) - 0.7 (flange) - 0.7 (flange) = 21.08. The tire must be from the R35 GT-R kit. The R35 is supposed to have 20" wheel, but because the Fujimi kit is one of their so called "Inch-up" series, it actually comes with 21" wheels.

The 20" BBS must have been designed for that tire, so it's Fujimi's interpretation of 20", which is actually 21"!

Tamiya and Aoshima also "interpret" the real measurements all the time, so you can't trust what the box says, but have to measure the actual product if you want to know the size for sure.

I just got two sets with two more on the way. I was disappointed at first, but after playing around with them, they are perfect for the new Dodge Challenger and are just the ticket for my Johan '72 Torino. The Torino is 1:24 scale and even the Aoshima 20" rims seemed too small for this car.

But I just preordered six sets of Aoshima's new 20" BBS LM's which should not disappoint.
