I have a 92 tercel had ac recharged no leaks blew cold air for about a week now the compressor turns on but no cold air ??

If your system required alot of refrigerant to recharge (more than one 12-oz can) then you have a significant leak and need to find & fix it first before wasting more money on recharges and refrigerant.

Second, make sure that the A/C compressor is actually engaging when it is turned on. You should hear the click of the clutch, the engine rpms increase slightly, and the radiator cooling fans turn on. But if it doesn't, it could be the clutch, its circuit, or the low-pressure switch preventing the compressor from turning on...again usually due to low refrigerant.

An A/C manifold gauge set can show you what condition your system is in, but should be checked by qualified mechs if you're not familiar with reading and diagnosing the pressure readings. Good luck!
