Hello all! Dropping in from Motorburg. I see many familiar people here. Lemorris is a real cool cat and I decided to see what everyone is up to. I'll join in and share a little about what I have done. I have been drawing since I was a kid. A few years ago I got back into drawing my passion and still have my day job working as a Graphic designer/Illustrator and working to build a name for my work as an automotive artist.

Finished this recently for a client in the U.K.

This is for a friend and client in Fountain Valley, CA

This is for my good buddy in Huntington Beach, CA

This is a modified version of an Aussie Falcon for a client in Australia...

Well, I won't drop too much in for now. Haven't had anything in magazines yet, but after a project or two have been completed, would like to have the builders send in info on the builds along with my renderings. It's a long difficult wait.

Welcome Don, thanks for joining in over here too.
And that surf wagon is just too cool.

(Don is one of those masters who makes a background image so well that it could stand alone as fine art without any car design in front of it.)

Hey Don.

AF, prepare to be dazzled.

...Oh and check out Wagon Masters @ beachcitywagonmasters.com even if you
don't like wagons. It's Dons place and it's cool as well as very artist friendly.

(This is not a paid advertisement and the Don'ster had no idea I was refering you all.)

Thanks Blip. My buddy suggested that I create backgrounds to go with the images. That is why I do it now. I combine layers of photos I take, add paint filters in Photoshop. I keep messing with them until I get a desired look. I appreciate the warm welcome!

Blip, I enjoy your 'toon art. Always watching for what you will be creating next.

Thanks for the welcome Mark. Beachcityagonmasters is a friend's website. He is an absolute wagon nut and the website is a tribute to wagons everywhere. Would be nice if he ever puts up a new shopping cart. The current one, never worked. Lol! I do appreciate his efforts though. Mark visits and contributes his work and comments now and then. He creates some very cool wagons!!

Things have been very slow on BCWM. In fact, many automotive forums have been very slow these past six months or so. Just a sign of the current economic times. We can all do our part and help these communities now and then and join in the forum conversations.

elco,

The backgrounds are a mix of different effects (layering) along with using some water color filters and Alienskin Oil painting filters. Lots of experimenting to get each effect.

Thanks Brian, I enjoy your work as well!
