we recently put new brakes, rotors, and struts in my daughters 05 maxima now when she uses the brakes at slow speed there is a clunking noise from the front of the car and what sounds like a pump running for a few seconds after the car comes to a stop also the brake pedal will push your foot back up could this be an abs problem? any ideas would appreciated

ABS has selfdiagnostics - tst it (will reveal broken -if- sensor wire). U may also temporarily test/disable ABS by taking its fuse out.

Noise can be non Nissan pads settling (?) as pistons are now 'in' compared to used pads.

Broken strut?
