Very nice kit. I might have to go out and add this to my collection. I lilke how much potential this kit has. I dont collect van models but this kits is worthy. Nice build so far guy. Keep up the good work.

Yeah finally I can go back modelling :)
A while ago, I clearcoated the body before the decals. After the decals were placed I added another clearcoat to seal the decals.
After 2,5 week I picked it up.... that was today :)
First I started to mask of the body.

Than I added 3 layers of TS- Gun Metal, and after the final coat I removed the masking tape before the paint was dry.

There is a level difference between the layers of course, but this will be sanded away when all the paintwork is done.
I also started on the wheels a while ago. First I painted them black, and than I painted the red trims and white letters on the tyres by hand. It's not good for your eyes this shitwork :D but I think the result looks good.

Now I have to find a red paint which looks like the red striping. It's hard to find a color like that, but I hope the difference will be not to big.

So another update on the A-team van.
I masked of the body several times to test some different kind of red paints. The best result was with white primer and Italian Red. There is of course a difference between the decal and the red paint, but overal i'm pretty satisfied. And most important, the guy i'm making this model for, doesn't care about this.
With that fact, I clearcoated the body after sanding all the moldings from masking away.
3 coats of Mr. Super Clear where enough for me. After a week i'll polish it.

Now I can go further with the interior and chassis.

So finally digged up this thread :D
Last time I spent my time on the body.
This time it was time for the chassis and interior.
Most parts were already painted for the chassis, but before installing I had to paint some more parts.
I didn't do anything spectacular but only wheatered the chassis when it was done. The engineroom is only painted for pics because you won't see anything from it after completing the model.

http://albums.modelbrouwers.nl/coppermine/albums/userpics/10027/chassis___interieur_004_%28Medium%29.jpg
Move on to the interior. First I had to mask the whole chassis to paint the floor in primer grey. The whole interior needed to me grey, so it was easy using only primer grey :) All other parts are also painted grey after some puttywork.
Some small details were painted and the interior was completed.
In the movie/serie are these guys destroying everything so they get very dirt every day, so the interior won't be brandnew I think. So I made some dirt and wheatering on the interior also.

Now the chassis and interior are done... I can go further with the body  :D
