Driver side turn signal in mirrororkel 07-04-2009, 08:20 AM Hi all Haven't posted here in a long time cause just have not had any problems (touch wood), but have been reading lots. Got a question for the gurus out there. 2003 Sport The LEDs in my driver side mirror recently started to act up. First it would stay on when lights were turned on, (especially if it was raining, or cold) but now, only the middle one lights up when the turn signal is turned for that side, and it has stopped lighting up with the lights. I know it is not a major problem, but it is kinda annoying when everything else on the van is working perfectly. Has anyone had this problem? serge_saati 07-07-2009, 10:57 PM It's a bad contact at the back of the LEDs. Replace all the LEDs. It's one piece only. orkel 07-08-2009, 12:01 AM Thanks for the reply, but how do you replace the LEDs? Do I need to replace the whole mirror assembly? serge_saati 07-08-2009, 11:57 AM Yes, you need to replace the whole mirror. There's a website that explain how to do it: http://www.autopartsdirecttoyou.info/. It's for a F-150, but it's same thing. orkel 07-08-2009, 08:54 PM Thanks serge_saati. The link was also very helpful. Much appreciated Guess I have to go look for a mirror vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
