Hello,I have a Buick Century 2000 with 150,000 miles 3.1 engine. This winter while traveling in 6-8" of icy slush had to slam on brakes and all the brake lights came on-- yellow{ anti-lock } yellow { trac off } and Brake { RED } I used my OBDII scanner and could find no codes?? Thanks for any help. Corey

when you slammed your brakes, those lights came on because the ABS kicked in, the trac control shut off due to the lock-up and the pedal probably sunk below a certain point causing the red light to come on. If none of them stayed on, this is normal.

Thanks for the reply,I have not drove the car in a while account all of the lights are on all the time now, fluid level is ok and I was going to do a brake job all the way around, but maybe I should get the warning lights reset first? Thanks Corey

Do you still have good pedal, or does it sink to the floor? If the pedal sinks and your fluid level starts falling, you probably blew a rusty steel brake line when you slammed the brakes causing a loss of pressure which tripped the red warning light. Look for fluid leaks under the car. If no leaks, you may have blew out the master cylinder.

Thanks for the reply, yes I have good pedal and the brakes seem to be working fine, other than having all the lights on.No leaks, fluid level full. I am going to start to do a brake job on the front and I will look for any broken wires or any bad parts,I am doing this as I was going to do a complete brake job any way.I will get back with any findings,Thanks Corey
