WIP: Ferrari 430 Scuderia x2Rickard_Olsson 07-02-2009, 02:35 PM I just got my shipment from 1999.co.jp and it included 2 sets of the Fujimi Ferrari 430 Scuderia. The reason why Iīm building this model is because I think it is the most advanced and extreme Ferrari to date. And when I even get to work at this car nearly every day you get a little extra kick when you have it in a scale model  Hereīs the pictures ! http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/7374/p1000550.jpg (http://img156.imageshack.us/i/p1000550.jpg/) I have also painted the rims. A close match to the real deal I would say ? :) http://img528.imageshack.us/img528/3711/p1000547q.jpg (http://img528.imageshack.us/i/p1000547q.jpg/) Thatīs it for now ! :) // Rickard prortiz80 07-02-2009, 02:38 PM like the paint job on the bodys nice and clean vrossi85 07-02-2009, 04:05 PM Nice start on this! Love the colors of the ferraris. Which color did u use for the blue one? Ro janositamas 07-03-2009, 03:57 AM And none of the are red, nice job mate! gtziaf 07-03-2009, 04:28 AM I always watching Ferrari threads... I do the same again. Excellent start. Good luck until the end... Rickard_Olsson 07-06-2009, 03:08 PM It is time for a rather small update :) Since I last posted I have clearcoated the bodies and also started to polish them a little bit.. So thereīs nothing new thatīs been happening.. but I will show you some pics of the bodies as it stands right now :) http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm221/Rickard_Olsson_89/P1000556.jpg http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm221/Rickard_Olsson_89/P1000559.jpg http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm221/Rickard_Olsson_89/P1000561.jpg Itīs a really slow process of polishing the bodies. I have just started using Tamiya Compounds.. But it certainly makes a GREAT amount of difference to the whole appearance of the model ! :) // Rickard jano11 07-06-2009, 03:37 PM Those two cleared and polished bodies look impressive! :) gionc 07-06-2009, 04:40 PM Very nice combo! janositamas 07-07-2009, 03:20 AM The shine is just perfect! BVC500 07-07-2009, 09:00 AM Nice paintwork and color choices! Polishing does take forever, but the results are worth it. I like building pairs of cars too, as I can't choice one single color. mvaneersel 07-07-2009, 09:10 PM What do you mean Rickard, when you say you get to work on this car every day? Are you lucky enough to be a mechanic or owner? I'm jealous... Great job on the models so far. Rickard_Olsson 08-05-2009, 06:34 AM UPDATE !! Iīm actually getting close to finishing these two beautiful cars. The first models Iīve finished for over a year and it feels great to acutally finish something. I have finished up the chassis and now I only got the bodies left to finish :) http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm221/Rickard_Olsson_89/P1000611.jpg http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm221/Rickard_Olsson_89/P1000613.jpg A slight polish all around, fitment of exterior parts and then itīs finished ! :) http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm221/Rickard_Olsson_89/P1000614.jpg http://i297.photobucket.com/albums/mm221/Rickard_Olsson_89/P1000615.jpg // Rickard Jaff_Cannon 08-05-2009, 08:42 AM Looks clean from pictures. Looking forward to final shots with trim finished and assembled. Very neat work there with two models of identical build quality. MidMazar 08-05-2009, 02:01 PM Looking good, on the engine carpartment, did you paint the carbon? If you did how did you paint it? tuned.by.twenty 08-05-2009, 03:38 PM Great work so far! The only problem is that I don't know which colour I like better. :grinyes: KevHw 08-05-2009, 10:30 PM I'll take the blue one please :bigthumb: Engine bays are looking sweet and the interior looks good too. Got any closer shots of the interior to show? janositamas 08-06-2009, 02:34 AM OK, then I take the yellow one, please! :-) Beautiful twins!!! vrossi85 08-06-2009, 02:37 AM Beautiful models there. Just love F430 Scuderias! Ro Rickard_Olsson 08-06-2009, 12:57 PM Looking good, on the engine carpartment, did you paint the carbon? If you did how did you paint it? I first painted it flatblack and then I used a a pen to do the pattern. I think itīs a very cheap and easy way to make your own carbon fibre. And it donīt look too bad either. :) And you can also spray some clear over it to make it nice and shiney if you want to :) Thanks for all the kind words ! :) // Rickard vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
