Revelle Honda Civic SI

:D Whelp, finished my first model for the month of April a Revell Honda Civic SI. First, I must say it came out better than I thought it would because the parts didn't look as if they would fit well, but it wasn't bad at all. I used TS32 (Haze Gray) for my color and I decided to go with the tribal stripes but not the carbon fiber hood decal because I thought it might throw off the color scheme. Nice, however I think the weels should come out 6 mm more on each side

remember this is box stock so don't count on revell to put the wheels where they should because I said the same thing last night when I finished it the the wheels need to have a bit wider stance and maybe toe them in alittle, but hey its revell.

Nice choice to go with the tribals.

The only thing I kinda dislike are the rims, but furthermore, it looks killer!

The colour and graphics really suit the shape and style of the car. Individual but not too bright or over the top, like it.

Do those wheels come with the kit?

Yes they do, but they are in chrome as well as three other style of chrome wheel to choose from. You can build it stock or aero.

Not that I don't like opinions because they are great, but when new people come on without any post of their work like 96ejvtec it seems to in a sutble way burden my mind that I searched to find anything that he has done and I found nothing. It is hard respect nor take critique from someone who enters fountain with a full cup. Never mind me I am just humble enough to be here amongst modellers who show off terrific work let alone give advice that I so wellfully take because they lead by example. looks good, but I think its funny you think the CF hood would look cheesy but that jet fighter wing went right on with no regrets, just my opinion.

96ejvtec I went to the web site which one is yours ? I have a 02 Altima that I am either looking to turbo it out cause I have already change the cat back along with the dual can pipes. Next are the pulleys and a chip. Right now with five speed I am up to 275 HP. You guys do anything with nissans. Why doesn't anyone like nissans.

cat back system for the exhaust
High Flow Dual exhaust pipes
High Flow Tubed air Filtration Unit

Next to do:

High performance Chip
Aluminum Pulleys
Coil over Adjustable Supension
Turbo if I can find one ?

Factory engine is 240 bhp at the pulleys and with the few mods I have done the engine now kicks out 275 bhp. I want to put a turbo & intercooler system on there, but I have not found it yet. I was wondering if you had any information on that. I know this isn't the forum for it but it is just a quick question

Nerve- I think the models rocks dude, great choice of colour and the white rims set it off really well.

I purchased some Haze Grey just the other day for my Integra, i'm really pleased i did now coz the colour looks superb!:flash:

My neighbor has a 2001 FOrd lightning with under drive pully, computer ship and cold air intake. You can take you tiny HP and buzz out of here.

As for the civic, I noticed it was'nt his style that made the kit look a bit wierd but it was revell's fault>>> example: the wheels bieng too inside. But you've got nice style and the color choice is very nice. Great job!:)

I would just like to say thanks guys for your opinions and critiques. For the record I used testors dark blue to put small drops inside the headlamps to give it that hyper white bulb look, so most of you who thought that I might have done that were indeed correct. Thanks again guys.

Lownslow - hey whats up man !, I will definitely have to stop by there this week and take a look cause I know you got something sweet in there. You know I still have never been to Stantons, but I here it is close to 294 or Touhy so I am going to get directions an go over there.
