We recently got a jeep wrangler and it was submerged in water soon after we got it (long story). Anyway, it died in the water. We got it home and it dried out, and it is running ok, but the oil pressure is real low, like a 10. Can anyone advise on what might be the problem?

Have you changed the oil after the immersion? This is the first thing you should have done!

If you've changed it, change it again as there could still be residual water in the system.

Water in the oil causes rapidly increased wear to the engine.

You probably will want to change out your transmission fluid. Differentials are probably ok but it won't hurt to change them also since I'd bet you have over 100K on the Jeep. If you were deep enough to submerge the power steering reservoir, change that out also.

Post back after your oil change and let us know how things are doing.
