97 9000 Turbo Specs?IntegraB18LS 04-01-2003, 09:56 PM what is the 1/4 mile time/speed and the 0-60 time of a 97 saab 9000 turbo? Kyle spooleffect 07-14-2003, 12:43 PM A 97 9000 Turbo doesn't exist..... SaabJohan 07-14-2003, 10:11 PM Of course they exist, the production ended 1998. The cars was however availible with four turboengines, B204E (150hp/215Nm), B234E (170hp/260Nm), B234L (200hp/232Nm or 294Nm for automatic) and B234R (225hp/342Nm). B234R was not availible with automatic gearbox. With B234R the car did according to Saab 0-100 km/h at 6.9 seconds so 0-60 mph time is probably a little faster. In reality the car was also a little faster than 6.9 seconds. Based on weight and power around 15 seconds at 402m should be possible. spooleffect 07-15-2003, 04:00 AM Wasnt it a 9-5 though SaabJohan 07-15-2003, 09:03 AM Originally posted by spooleffect Wasnt it a 9-5 though Nope, 9-5 wasn't in production until 1998, and both 9000 and 9-5 was produced under 1998. spooleffect 07-15-2003, 05:08 PM Now I remember, I was thinking 9-5 and 9-3 because after '93 I think it was when SAAB changed the body style of the 900 and 9000. The American models of the last 900 and 9000 looked just like the first models of 9-3 and 9-5. Whenever I do not see an old model 900 or 9000 I just think 9-3 or 9-5. SaabJohan 07-16-2003, 08:38 AM Saab 900 (new generation) was produced between 1994 and 1998. 9-3 (old generation) was produced from 1998 and was a face lifted 900 (ng). 9-5 was however a completly new car. Produced from 1998 and got a facelift 2002. spooleffect 07-16-2003, 06:25 PM I don't know what it is but I just love the way the older SAABs look. My first car was a '90 900 turbo, I loved the way that car looked. SAABs have always been cool because they are so unique. Id love to have an older 900 Aero or an newer Viggen. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
